MarketSaw, the 3D Movie Blog, have an exclusive post on a strong rumor that George Lucas is preparing to launch another STAR WARS trilogy, this time in stereoscopic 3D.
The pending 2D to 3D conversions of the six existing STAR WARS films is still planned to go ahead as theatres with 3D screens numbers approaching 3000 in the US (5000 is the number Lucas wants). No word yet though on when this work will be complete.
