Enhanced Dimensions is the personal blog of Andrew Murchie dedicated to all things stereoscopic.

Andrew is an award winning short-film maker and motion graphics professional based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Andrew works on a diverse range of digital, video and motion graphics projects in top Edinburgh marketing agency Multiply, where he is a company director. As an Adobe After Effects user the majority of the Stereoscopic 3D you will see on Enhanced Dimensions will be animations created using a bespoke 3d rig developed within After Effects.

Andrew’s stereoscopic work has been screened in film festivals worldwide and has had many accolades most notably winning a 2nd place in InvaZion 2010 for Excellence in Visual Arts. The judging panel for this event included stereoscopic animation experts from Disney, Dreamworks and Pixar Animation Studios.

The blog aims to be a source of information on stereoscopic projects that Andrew is developing plus the expanding stereoscopic market and includes materials and tutorials that specifically After Effects users should find beneficial in developing their Stereo 3D skills.

Andrew also runs The Stereoscopic 3D Video Channel a channel dedicated to showing the best stereoscopic videos on YouTube and Vimeo. There is an associated group for showing test S3d footage and sharing experience.
