Nintendo 3DS – 3D Glasses Free Gaming
Nintendo has announed that it’s next generation handheld console will be a stereoscopic gaming system. The new Nintendo DS will be out later this year and will deliver a stereo 3d gaming experience without the need for any 3D glasses. It’s assumed this will use a lenticular style screen to create 3d effects not disimilar to the Fujifilm FinePix W1 camera.
It’s not confirmed at this point but it would make sense that Nintendo’s device will include a stereoscopic camera, if not in this first generation 3DS then in future versions that will brind simple stereoscopic photography to a whole new market. The potential for 3D imagery and video playback alongside the unparalelled gaming experience that Nintendo always deliver will surely make this machine a must have gadget!
